We study how sensory neurons and their supporting tissues maintain function under metabolic stress, and how dysregulation of these processes contributes to neurodegenerative and sensory disorders.

Our lab integrates molecular biology, cellular physiology, disease models, and translational approaches to understand sensory neural dysfunction and develop therapeutic strategies for hearing loss and motor neuron disease.
